2022년도 장학금 신청안내

< 장학금 종류 >

(1)  장학금 종류

    * 글로벌 일반장학금: US $500 – US $1,000

    * 글로벌 비젼장학금: US $1,000 – US $3,000: Vison Scholarship: Special Cases

    * 글로벌 기부장학금: 대학 진학 후 1 – 4년, 매년 US $1,000 수여

    * 현재 제정 된 기부장학금 (가나다 순):

         스티브권 장학생,  김동수 장학생,  김성민 장학생,

         남명호 장학생,  남 일 장학생,  손창현 장학생,

        이기현 장학생,  이종애 장학생,  조규식 장학생,

        조규자 장학생.

(2) 신청 자격

   * 세계 각 국가와 대륙단위 청소년꿈발표축제 1-3등 입상자:

     현재 모집대상은 지난 3년간의 대회 수상자 (2020-2022년도)

   * 각 국가의 재단 지부장이 추천한 학생:

     현재 모집대상은 2019-2022년도 대회 수상자로 현 고교 및 대학교 재학생

(3) 선발 기준

    * 사회봉사 및 지도력 40%, 에세이/수필 40%,

      학교성적 10%, Intangible factor: Humanity 10%

(4) 제출서류:

   * 재단의 홈페이지 www.MDIFoundation.org  에서 다운로드 할 수 있다.

   * 본인 사진 (사진 형식은 자유)

   * 에세이/수필은 한글 또는 영문으로 작성. A4용지 2장 이내, font는 Malgun Gothic 11.

   * 주제 (하나만 선택): (1) 나에게 “용기”를 주는 단어, 또는 (2) 나에게 “특별한 사람”

   * 모든 제출서류는 아래 장학위원장의 주소 또는 이메일로 보내기 바람

• • General Scholarships: US $500 – US $1,000 per award
  • Vision Scholarships: US $1,000 – US $3,000, for Special Cases
  • Endowment College Scholarships: Based on the selection result,
     awarded between 1 – 4 years during college, US $1,000 every year)

            * Current Endowed Scholarships: Mr. Steve Kwon Scholarship,  Mr. Sung Min Kim Scholarship, Dr. Lucy Nam Scholarship, Mr. Il Nam Scholarship,

       *  Youth Dream Presentation Festival winners (1st-3rd) from each country/continent (Year 2020-2022)

       *  Chapter President Recommended: Students recommended by each Chapter from the winners

            (1st-3rd) from each country/continent (Year 2019-2022)

< Evaluation Criteria >

• • Leadership activities and community service- 30%
  • Essay – 30%
  • Academic performance – 10%
  • Intangible factor: Humanity – Interview – 30%

• • Photo of yourself (any format as well as passport photo type accepted)
  • Essay: Written in either in Korean or English, less than 2 pages of A4 size with font size 11 with Malgun Gothic or equivalent.
  • Essay theme (choose one from below):
